Skiddaw Grove was built around 1820 as a Gentleman’s residence.
It has seen many changes over the years and was converted to a 12 bedroom hotel in the 1970s
In 1998 it was adapted to a 5 bedroom guest house with 2 self-

The Matthews family moved to Skiddaw Grove in early 2003 and the rest, as they say, is history.
